If your group or organization is planning an event, please simply fill out the form at the bottom of the page. We review submissions on a regular basis and will post appropriate events in a timely manner.

We encourage organizations to use the calendar to publicize events and as a planning tool to avoid conflict with other events scheduled in town.

Peach and Ice Cream Festival at the Social Hall of the First English Lutheran Church, 104 North Gilpin Street from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Mahoning Hills Social Center , located on Rt. 119 Highway North, beside Longview Elementary School,invites you to join their Hymn Sing on Wednesday, August 27th at 11 am. Kay Young will be leading everyone in another great, fun hymn sing. No reservation needed.

Native American Lifeways - Todd Ghost in the Head Johnson will be presented at 7 pm at the Lattimer House, 400 W Mahoning Street in Punxsutawney. Re-enactor and historical consultant, Ghost uses his Huron heritage to show and tell about the lives of Native Americans from the French and Indian War Era. He will be in full gear and have with him his furs, weaponry and many other historic and reproduction artifacts. His woven bags and moccasins are on display at Meadowcroft Rockshelter near Pittsburgh, a division of the Heinz History Center. Free and open to the public.

16th Annual Groundhog Fall 50K Race with a new 25K event held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 7:00 am for 50K/9:30 am for 25K. Start and finish at the Punxsutawney Community Center, 220 North Jefferson Street. Click here for more information on entry fees and forms.
