Snowman in the Forest Day sponsored by the Cook Forest Vacation Bureau is Saturday, February 20, 2010. This event is held on River Road from 11:30-2:30 pm. This is a fun filled day for the entire family. There is a Chili Cook-off Contest, Hiking, Ice Skating, Building of Snow Men, Sled Riding, Reindeer Rides and a visit from Smokey the Bear. The 4th annual Celtic Festival at Thistle & Pine will be Saturday, October 4.
